These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CoreOS (operated under the ZenTracker.in brand) governing your use of the CoreOS website at coreos.zentracker.in and the CoreOS application at coreos.zentracker.in/app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding contract, that you are at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and that you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
2The Service
CoreOS is a local-first personal productivity application for managing spaces, contacts, tasks and subtasks, follow-ups, calendar events, and Notion-style notes. The core application runs in your browser and stores your content on your device.
As of 23 July 2026, email sign-in is required to use the Service. Sign-in is passwordless — you verify your email address with a one-time code. The core application still runs in your browser and stores your content on your device.
Backup to your own Google Drive is also required as of 23 July 2026. You connect a Google account, and CoreOS keeps a backup of your workspace in a private, app-only folder of your own Drive — written by your browser, directly with Google. Practically, this means a Google account is needed to use CoreOS. We may otherwise add, change, or remove features as the Service develops.
3Accounts & sign-in
An account is required to use CoreOS. Sign-in is passwordless: you enter your email address and confirm a one-time verification code sent to it. The first time you sign in, you also provide your name and date of birth to create your account. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email account, and for all activity that occurs under your account — if you lose access to the inbox, you may lose access to the Service, so choose an address you will keep. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation. Do not share verification codes with anyone; we will never ask you for one.
4Your content & backups
You own your content. Everything you create in CoreOS belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it, and we grant ourselves no right to it beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the features you use. Drive backup is performed by your browser, directly with Google — your content is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, so there is nothing on our side for us to claim a right over in the first place.
You are responsible for backups. Because CoreOS stores your content on your device, that content can be lost if you clear your browser storage, lose or reset your device, or uninstall the app. You are responsible for keeping your own backups — through the required Google Drive backup, and by exporting your workspace to a JSON file. Making Drive backup a requirement is intended to reduce this risk, but it does not eliminate it: a backup that has not yet been written, or one you delete from your own Drive, cannot be recovered by us. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of content stored locally on your device or in your own Google account.

5Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ data, or any connected system or account;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the Service to store or transmit material that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others; or
- misuse any Google or third-party integration in breach of that provider’s terms.
6Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers to deliver certain features — Google Drive (for backup to your own account), Google Calendar (optional two-way sync, available since 29 July 2026; since 2 August 2026 it covers the calendars you choose to link on the Google account you connect, rather than only a calendar CoreOS creates), Loops.so (for delivering sign-in emails), and Cloudflare (which hosts the site and runs the function that issues and verifies sign-in codes). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the respective provider’s terms and privacy policies, including the Google Terms of Service. Our use of Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control their availability.
Because sign-in and Drive backup are required, an outage at one of these providers — or the loss of your Google or email account — may prevent you from using the Service. We are not liable for such interruptions, and we will restore access as soon as the underlying provider does.
7Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, interface, text, graphics, the CoreOS and ZenTracker.in names and logos — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. This licence does not permit you to copy, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly allowed. Your own content remains yours, as set out in section 4.
8Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements, or that any content will be preserved without loss. You use the Service at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreOS and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, content, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 (or its equivalent). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; you can remove your local data, delete any Drive backup, and revoke Google access as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 4, 7, 8, 9 and 12 — will survive.
11Changes to the Service & Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts located in India will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
